Superhuman (which now includes Grammarly) is building an AI-native productivity platform serving over 40 million people globally. The company's suite includes writing assistance, collaborative workspaces, inbox management, and Go—a proactive AI assistant that anticipates user needs and delivers help automatically. You'll join as Technical Program Manager for the Go product, sitting at the intersection of engineering and product management. This role owns end-to-end program management of multi-quarter engineering initiatives, from planning through launch. Key responsibilities include: - Drive engineering delivery end-to-end by supporting program management of major initiatives, tracking milestones, surfacing dependencies, and managing technical risks. - Translate engineering requirements into executable plans by partnering with engineering leads to break down technical work into phased delivery with clear milestones, identifying critical paths, spotting dependencies, and flagging resource constraints early. - Engage directly with engineers on architecture decisions, trade-offs, and system design to understand what's being built and help teams make smart calls about scope, quality, and shipping readiness. - Track and improve engineering health by monitoring delivery metrics, flagging risks early, running post-launch retrospectives, and establishing signals to measure system performance. You'll work in a remote-first, hybrid model with a Berlin hub. The company emphasizes autonomy, trust, and a collaborative culture rooted in shared values. Superhuman offers comprehensive support including professional growth opportunities, team resource groups, and for Germany-based candidates, competitive pay, life care benefits (mental health support, risk benefits), generous time off, home office setup support, wellness and pet care stipends, and learning & development opportunities. Relocation support is available, including visa assistance, destination services, and a relocation bonus. QUALIFICATIONS: - 3+ years of relevant experience in a fast-scaling tech environment, either from a technical background (Software Engineering, QA, Data Engineering, or similar) transitioning into program management, or prior Program Manager experience wanting to deepen engineering expertise. - Technical depth sufficient to earn engineering trust—understanding how software systems are built through hands-on coding experience, data infrastructure work, or embedded time with engineering teams. - Strong program management fundamentals or genuine drive to build them: planning cycles, dependency tracking, risk management, stakeholder communication. If coming from pure engineering, must be coachable and excited to develop program management skills. - Proactive and organized: you identify gaps, gather context, and move without waiting to be told. Capable of holding multiple engineering workstreams in mind simultaneously. - Real credibility with engineers built through shared technical background or genuine curiosity—earning trust by making their work easier and paths to delivery clearer, not through top-down management. - Comfortable with ambiguity and purposeful movement: shifting priorities don't derail you; you adapt quickly, stay focused, and know when to push forward versus slow down for alignment.
