Archer Technologies is building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft designed to carry four passengers with minimal noise, advancing sustainable air mobility. The company is scaling production and seeks a Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end execution of manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly programs for electric propulsion systems.
In this role, you will drive on-time, high-quality delivery of complex hardware programs by managing detailed task-based schedules in Smartsheet, coordinating across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management teams. You'll embed with manufacturing teams to support day-to-day execution, remove blockers, and implement recovery plans. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining critical path schedules, leading cross-functional coordination for build readiness, proactively identifying risks and execution gaps, and communicating program status clearly to leadership.
You'll act as the primary interface between multiple departments, ensuring material, configuration, and production planning alignment. The role requires hands-on involvement in manufacturing environments—not just schedule tracking—with a focus on improving throughput and reliability.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, 5+ years of TPM (Technical Program Management) or NPI (New Product Introduction) experience delivering complex hardware programs, and strong understanding of manufacturing processes (motors, stators, winding, etc.). You must demonstrate proven ability to drive execution in manufacturing environments, experience managing detailed schedules with tools like Smartsheet, and strong cross-functional leadership with the ability to influence without direct authority.
