Salary: USD 160,000 - 200,000 / annual
Applied Intuition is seeking a Technical Program Manager based in Washington, D.C. to manage complex autonomy projects for defense customers. The role serves as the single point of contact for customer engagements, responsible for architecting solutions, tracking project progress, and ensuring successful delivery of milestones and deliverables.
Key responsibilities include executing projects end-to-end, maintaining regular customer touchpoints to identify pain points and opportunities for expanded engagements, coordinating with internal subject matter experts to communicate customer needs and gaps in current software solutions, evaluating project timings and adjusting resource allocation based on customer requirements, and leading pursuit efforts from RFQ release through detailed technical proposal development.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of industry experience leveraging data and technical knowledge to support software programs, with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Familiarity with the DOD autonomy ecosystem and hands-on experience managing complex projects are required. US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are mandatory. The role involves approximately 25% travel to customer sites.
Nice-to-have qualifications include active secret or top secret clearance, direct experience supporting DOD clients on software use cases, familiarity with data management and simulation providers in the autonomy space, hands-on experience with data or simulation software for autonomy, and knowledge of both software and hardware aspects of development and testing including high-performance computing and real-time test systems.
