Salary: USD 160,000 - 200,000 / annual

Applied Intuition is seeking a Technical Program Manager based in Washington, D.C. to serve as the primary point of contact for complex defense customer projects. The role bridges internal technical teams and U.S. Department of Defense clients, managing end-to-end project execution from RFQ through delivery. Key responsibilities include: executing projects as single point of contact while tracking progress and ensuring milestone completion; continuously engaging defense customers to identify pain points and opportunities for expanded engagements; providing regular updates to internal teams on customer workflows and gaps in current software solutions; evaluating project timings and adjusting resource allocation based on customer feedback; and leading pursuits by creating detailed technical proposals with input from subject matter experts across the organization. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of industry experience leveraging data and technical knowledge to support software programs, with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Familiarity with the DOD autonomy ecosystem and hands-on experience managing complex projects are essential. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required. The role involves approximately 25% travel to customer sites. Nice-to-have qualifications include active secret or top secret clearance, direct experience supporting DOD software use cases, familiarity with data management and simulation providers in the autonomy space, hands-on experience with autonomy-focused data or simulation software, and knowledge of both software and hardware aspects of development and testing (high-performance computing, real-time test systems).
