Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products to enterprise customers including Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The company is executing a fundamental shift toward a Data Foundations model where every domain owns and treats data as a product with enforceable quality guarantees.
As Technical Program Manager for Data Foundations, you will be the operational engine driving this transformation. You will own the cross-functional execution framework required to establish robust data governance, support rollout of self-service data infrastructure, drive organizational adoption, and systematically reduce technical debt across the company.
Key responsibilities include: taking full ownership of the Data Foundation program and unblocking teams; overseeing alignment across multiple solutions and managing cross-product dependencies; proactively mitigating program risks; driving change management and cultural transformation around data strategy; coordinating technical debt reduction and modernization of the data tech stack; and establishing standardized program health tools including RAID logs, dashboards, blueprints, and cross-team roadmaps.
You bring 5–7 years of experience leading complex, high-stakes technical programs or platform migrations in global, cross-product environments. You have functional understanding of modern data design patterns including Data Mesh, Data Contracts, lineage tracking, and metadata cataloging. You excel at navigating organizations, fostering collaboration, and aligning product and engineering teams around a "data as a product" mindset. You are a systems thinker who can synthesize dependencies and trade-offs across individual products. You are metrics-driven with proven ability to establish telemetry, RAID logs, and dashboards to monitor execution velocity and operational efficiency.
