Salary: USD 290,000 - 365,000 / annual
Anthropic is seeking a Technical Program Manager to own cross-functional billing programs as the company scales its products, regions, and sales channels. The role bridges billing engineering, GTM systems, finance, treasury, product, and support teams to transform ad-hoc escalations into structured, repeatable programs.
Key responsibilities include: driving cross-team programs for billing platform foundations from scoping through delivery; standardizing intake processes for new commercial work with clear ownership and sequenced dependencies; owning the end-to-end promotions program (proposal to configuration to reconciliation for both self-serve and sales-led channels); ensuring launch readiness for new products and SKUs by coordinating pricing, metering, invoicing, and reporting; managing the charge pipeline change process; and running payments operations programs in partnership with finance and treasury, including currency and FX considerations.
Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of technical program management experience with a track record of owning complex cross-functional initiatives end-to-end. You should be comfortable reasoning about metering, invoicing, and payment flows and the data pipelines supporting them. Prior experience running launch readiness programs where commercial and billing paths needed to align with product launches is valuable. Strong candidates can build trust across engineering, finance, GTM systems, product, and support teams, translate between different functional languages, and drive outcomes across teams without direct authority. A preference for building repeatable processes over repeated manual fixes is essential.
Bonus qualifications include experience with promotions or credit programs, enterprise billing platforms, FX/treasury/month-end close/reconciliation, payments operations, billing platforms, quote-to-cash product management, or chargeback and refund operations.
