NetBox Labs is seeking a Technical Program Manager to build out and scale their TPM function. As the second TPM, you'll own end-to-end delivery of company-critical, cross-team programs that align with company priorities and product strategy.
You'll drive cross-team dependency management and sequencing to prevent surprises and blockers. Your core responsibilities include maintaining explicit scope alignment between Engineering and Product, identifying risks early, and improving delivery predictability for customer-facing commitments. You'll communicate program health, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership, surfacing tradeoffs early so prioritization happens deliberately rather than reactively.
You'll partner closely with Product and Engineering leads to share context and enable effective decision-making. A key part of your role is freeing up Engineering and Product leaders from ad-hoc coordination, progress tracking, and timeline alignment overhead. You'll also implement change management within the Product & Engineering organization, reducing rework caused by misaligned sequencing or unclear ownership.
The role enables the organization to ship complex, multi-team products faster by removing coordination bottlenecks and keeping critical paths clear. You'll help teams operate with clear ownership, predictable cadences, and fewer fire drills, while enabling faster tradeoff decisions when priorities collide.
Required qualifications: 5+ years leading complex technical or cross-functional programs; experience in fast-growing startups or rapidly evolving organizations; strong experience working directly with Engineering teams on delivery; track record shipping large initiatives involving multiple teams; comfort navigating technical discussions, dependencies, and tradeoffs; ability to surface risks early and push back constructively; strong written and verbal communication; proven ability to lead through influence and relationships; comfort with ambiguity.
Nice-to-have: experience building or scaling a TPM function from the ground up; experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude); B2B SaaS or platform company background; experience establishing delivery metrics and program health dashboards; prior experience with Customer Success or Go-to-Market launch coordination.
