Flexport is seeking a Technical Program Manager II for its Omnichannel organization, which powers critical supply chain and fulfillment capabilities including inbound, inventory, fulfillment, warehouse systems, carrier networks, parcel, and B2B/D2C distribution.
In this role, you will lead high-impact technology programs spanning multiple engineering teams, product domains, and business functions. You will serve as a highly visible leader responsible for driving communication, coordination, and execution across the full program lifecycle. Key responsibilities include defining clear goals, milestones, owners, dependencies, and success metrics; building realistic program plans and holding teams accountable; proactively identifying and resolving risks, blockers, and conflicts; coordinating cross-team dependencies and aligning roadmaps across Engineering, Product, and Operations; and providing clear visibility into program progress, risks, decisions, and trade-offs.
You will also drive launch readiness, operational readiness, migrations, and other critical cross-functional initiatives. You'll support annual and quarterly planning, including prioritization, estimation, capacity planning, and resource alignment, while establishing effective processes that improve execution and predictability across the Omnichannel organization.
Beyond internal execution, you will act as a trusted technical partner for key merchants using Flexport's Omnichannel products and services. You'll regularly engage with merchants to understand their experience, feedback, concerns, technical challenges, and escalations. You'll develop a strong understanding of Flexport's Omnichannel technology to effectively diagnose and contextualize merchant problems, triage issues, and coordinate across teams to drive timely resolution. You'll proactively manage merchant expectations and identify recurring pain points to translate into actionable improvements.
Required: 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering, product, technical account management, or related technology role. Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs across multiple engineering teams. Strong program planning, execution, dependency management, and risk management skills. Ability to understand complex technical systems and partner effectively with engineering leaders. Experience working directly with customers or enterprise clients, including managing technical issues and escalations.
