DailyPay is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive the development and implementation of programs, products, and services within R&D. The role focuses on managing complex initiatives with multiple dependencies, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and building technical roadmaps.
Key responsibilities include leading architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale critical financial applications end-to-end. You will partner closely with engineering leads, product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define program scope, requirements, and deliverables. You'll establish clear communication channels, provide regular status updates to stakeholders including senior leadership, and proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure seamless integration.
The role requires identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the program lifecycle while developing contingency plans and escalating issues appropriately. You will continuously evaluate and improve program and portfolio management processes, leveraging AI to drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives. Building consensus among diverse stakeholders is critical—you'll drive alignment on program goals through clear communication, trust, and shared accountability.
You'll adapt messaging for different audiences (engineers, PMs, business stakeholders, executives) and lead program meetings with clear agendas, outcomes, and action owners.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of technical program management or project management experience in software development environments. You need excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies (Kanban), and modern software architectures (microservices, cloud-native). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated leadership ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, and experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Git are essential.
