Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Technical Operations Engineer to join the Mission Operations team, supporting the deployment and field integration of advanced imaging systems for defense applications. This role bridges engineering and customer operations, requiring deep technical expertise combined with strong communication and project management skills.
You will serve as a subject matter expert on Anduril's imaging product families, working directly with Department of Defense customers to ensure successful system deployment and operational effectiveness. Your responsibilities include customer-facing technical support, system troubleshooting across hardware/software/networking domains, pre-deployment site surveys, and development of training documentation and operational procedures.
Key responsibilities: Deploy and support integrated hardware-software products in field environments; troubleshoot complex issues spanning mechanical, electrical, and software systems; configure and optimize networking infrastructure including firewalls, routers, and cloud environments; author technical documentation and training materials; manage cross-functional projects and coordinate between engineering teams and customer operations; ensure high system availability and performance; provide end-to-end support from hardware setup through software configuration and integration.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on problem-solving experience at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking in unstructured environments; strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting aptitude; Linux command-line proficiency; ability to translate technical concepts into operational requirements; project management and product deployment experience; excellent written and verbal communication; willingness to travel extensively for field deployments.
