Salary: USD 85,000 - 92,000 / annual
Flywire is a global payments enablement and software company serving over 5,300 clients across education, healthcare, travel, and B2B industries. The company operates in 15 offices worldwide with a team of 1,400+ employees.
The Technical Implementation Manager II will lead integration and implementation activities for Flywire's clients and partners, supporting the North America Sales and Relationship Management teams. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong client management, project management, and technical consultation skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Flywire Integrations, guiding clients through Discovery, Portal configuration, Integration, Testing, and Go-live stages
- Consult clients on implementing Flywire's platform products including APIs, Payment Checkouts, and Recurring Payments solutions
- Lead multiple client implementation projects as an SME, ensuring successful execution
- Conduct workshops and client syncs throughout different implementation stages
- Provide post-implementation and hyper-care support
- Ensure smooth customer experience by matching products and integrations to client needs
- Develop and maintain product documentation with Product teams, providing internal knowledge transfer
- Drive continuous improvement in implementation methodology, tools, and processes
- Relay client feedback and pain points to Product teams to inform product vision
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues by providing technical support
- Foster an improving culture and customer experience
The role uses tools including Zendesk, Postman, Visual Studio Code, JIRA, Sumologic, Cursor, Claude, and Google Suite.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (French speaking is a bonus)
- 4+ years of Technical Support, Consulting, Implementation, Professional Services, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of system integrations and understanding of different project methodologies
- Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience implementing and configuring software (payment software preferred)
- Familiarity with using APIs or JavaScript libraries
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Higher Education or ERP systems such as Xetta, Ellucian, StarRez, Oracle PeopleSoft, OpenApply, Slate, Salesforce
- Experience with Fintech, Technology, or Consulting companies
- Experience in Higher Education (Business Office, Cashiering, Financial Aid, Reconciliation processes)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Liquid, Java, SQL, Python
