Odyssey partners with state agencies to design, launch, and operate Education Savings Account (ESA) and grant programs. The company operates across 6 states, powering programs serving 200,000+ students and managing over $1B in education funding. As Technical Implementation Manager, you will own end-to-end customer deployment outcomes, embedding with state customers from kick-off through go-live and throughout their contractual lifecycle. You will fully understand customer requirements and communicate them effectively to internal teams. You'll develop and lead deployment plans with state stakeholders and cross-functional Odyssey teams (Engineering, Product, Support). Your responsibilities include providing technical knowledge of Odyssey's platform to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving technical solution deployment and configurations, and ensuring scalable, repeatable implementation processes across customers. You will build strong partnerships and lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders, translate complex customer plans into clear actionable messaging, and drive customer growth and adoption leading to successful renewals. The role requires balancing ambiguity with speed in an early-stage SaaS environment. Required qualifications: 5+ years in implementation or customer success roles with hands-on technology deployment experience. You must have managed long-term, complex technical implementation cycles of 6+ months. Strong technical acumen is essential—you understand system deployment, can configure technical workflows (APIs, webhooks), and hold your own in technical discussions. You're an excellent communicator with strong analytical skills (SQL, advanced Excel). You thrive in ambiguous environments, have an owner mindset with high accountability, and demonstrate empathy for customers and end users. Government agency experience is a strong plus. Must be authorized to work full-time in the US.
