Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Technical Field Operations Engineer to deploy and support advanced defense technology systems globally. As part of the Mission Operations team, you will serve as a subject matter expert on Anduril's imaging product families, working directly with Department of Defense customers to integrate hardware-software systems into operational concepts.
You will own end-to-end technical delivery, including pre-deployment site surveys, system configuration, troubleshooting, and training. Your responsibilities span customer-facing technical support, cross-functional coordination with engineering teams, and field problem-solving across hardware, software, and networking domains. You'll develop training documentation, manage operational logistics, ensure system availability, and communicate technical status to internal and customer stakeholders.
Key activities include: configuring and troubleshooting complex networking environments (firewalls, routers, cloud infrastructure); providing hands-on hardware setup and software configuration; resolving real-time field issues; authoring technical documentation; and coordinating deployment planning across multiple functional teams. You'll act as a bridge between customers and engineering, translating operational requirements into technical specifications and feeding product refinement recommendations back to development teams.
Required: 5+ years of problem-solving in unstructured environments at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, Linux command-line proficiency, experience decomposing technical concepts into operational requirements, project management and product deployment background, and excellent communication skills. Willingness to travel extensively required.
