Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Technical Field Operations Engineer to deploy and support advanced imaging systems for the Department of Defense. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Anduril's imaging product family, working directly with military customers to ensure successful system integration and operational deployment.
In this role, you will be responsible for customer-facing technical support, including system deployment planning, hardware-software integration, and troubleshooting in complex field environments. You'll develop training materials and technical documentation, conduct pre-deployment site surveys, and provide end-to-end support from hardware setup through software configuration. Your work will span hardware, software, and networking domains—configuring systems, troubleshooting firewalls and cloud environments, and resolving issues in real-time.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with imaging operations leads, other technical engineers, and product engineering teams to address customer needs and drive product refinement recommendations back to engineering. You'll manage operational and logistical planning for deployments, ensure high system availability and performance, and unblock cross-team initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into operational requirements for military stakeholders.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of problem-solving experience at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking; strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; Linux command-line proficiency; experience in project management and product deployment; and excellent communication abilities. Willingness to travel extensively is expected.
