Salary: AUD 130,000 - 150,000 / annual
Altana is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale AI-powered software solutions for the Australian government and Asia-Pacific deployments. This role bridges technical expertise and government stakeholder management, requiring someone who can translate complex AI capabilities into practical value for public sector clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Onboarding and adoption support for government users, building relationships with mission leaders and user groups
- Conducting in-depth customer analysis to optimize experience and demonstrate value realization
- Leading customer touchpoints and producing deliverables that contextualize Altana's solutions against government missions
- Serving as primary support contact, mobilizing resources to resolve issues quickly
- Synthesizing customer feedback for Product and Engineering teams
- Coordinating with implementation engineering teams on technical delivery
- Collaborating with Account Executives on account growth strategy and expansion opportunities
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of public sector experience with knowledge of international trade, defense, or national/economic security. Technical proficiency with modern AI tools is a major plus. You must have excellent presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, understand government operations and procurement, and be able to correlate customer business problems with Altana's solutions. A passion for solving complex global trade challenges is essential.
Critically, candidates must either hold or be eligible for a minimum NV1 Australian Government security clearance. The role is based in Canberra with hybrid flexibility, though candidates must be available for handoffs with UK and US teams across time zones.
