ClickHouse, a Forbes Cloud 100 company, is seeking a Technical Customer Support Engineer to join its global Support Engineering team. The role spans both ClickHouse (a real-time analytics and data warehousing platform) and Langfuse (an open-source LLM observability and evaluation platform) ecosystems, supporting customers across EMEA with global coverage overlap in the Americas and APJ. You will handle a diverse range of technical responsibilities: front-line troubleshooting via cases, chat, Slack, and phone; developing shareable solutions through documentation, knowledge bases, blogs, and webinars; collaborating with Support Services, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Product teams; mentoring colleagues and customers; escalating bugs to product engineering; and diving deep into technical integration questions directly within customer codebases. For ClickHouse & Core Infrastructure, you should bring hands-on experience with databases, OLAP systems, or distributed systems; strong software engineering fundamentals (CS/Data Science degree or equivalent project experience); comfort reading code and working with data pipelines (Kafka, Spark) or debugging cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure); and ability to thrive in a global, remote-first, SLA-driven environment. For Langfuse & AI Observability, you need genuine curiosity about LLM application development with hands-on experience building or debugging LLM-powered products using Python, TypeScript, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Vercel AI SDK; familiarity with LLM observability/eval tooling, prompt workflows, and model provider APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic); and strong written communication skills for Slack troubleshooting, documentation, and customer support. Bonus qualifications include open-source experience, prior ClickHouse or Langfuse experience, LLM observability tooling expertise, cloud platform experience, and data pipeline technology knowledge.
