VAST Data is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join its Customer Success team. As a member of the "Flight Crew," you will serve as the primary point of contact for post-sales customer engagement, working alongside Sales Engineers and Support Engineers to ensure customer success.
In this role, you will act as the quarterback for assigned customer accounts, managing all post-sale activities and serving as the trusted advisor for customers. You will be conversant in VAST Data's product offerings and responsible for day-to-day account operations, including managing escalations, coordinating installations and upgrades, and ensuring smooth onsite engagements.
Key responsibilities include: building and maintaining trusted customer relationships through technical excellence and customer-first mindset; responding quickly to technical support issues and coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve problems efficiently; managing customer installations, upgrades, break-fix activities, and expansions in partnership with Sales, Professional Services, and external partners; leading weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer review meetings; understanding and advocating for customer use cases and unique requirements; submitting and managing feature requests and bug reports with product and engineering teams; identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and ensuring full adoption of VAST products; maintaining account team awareness of status and activities; and leading a pod of Customer Success team members by leveraging different skillsets and focusing the team on customer priorities.
You will balance meeting KPIs and VAST SLAs while prioritizing customer happiness and satisfaction.
