Veeam Software, the global market leader in data resilience, is seeking a Technical Account Manager for its Cairo office. This role is central to post-sales customer success, combining technical expertise with project management and consulting.
You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers during and after Veeam implementations, ensuring they unlock full value from data resilience, backup, recovery, and security solutions. Your responsibilities span solution architecture, project planning, delivery coordination, and ongoing technical guidance across complex IT environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support delivery and consulting services for Veeam solution implementations
- Provide comprehensive project guidance including plans, schedules, communication, and resource management
- Assess and design solutions, troubleshoot post-installation issues
- Estimate implementation effort and create technical documentation, white papers, and best practices guides
- Deliver onsite knowledge transfer and training on Veeam solutions
- Analyze customer environments and recommend optimal Veeam configurations
- Facilitate communication between clients and Veeam support teams
- Identify upsell opportunities and process improvement areas
- Travel as needed to meet customer and company objectives
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in IT industry
- Fluency in English and French (mandatory)
- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent certification
- Prince2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent project management credential
- Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with Veeam core products
- Proven consulting and project management background
- Deep expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage systems, networking, data center operations, and business continuity
- Experience with enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle) and cloud technologies
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and accounts
