Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Technical Account Manager based in Paris to lead professional services engagements. You will be responsible for planning, architecting, coordinating, and managing delivery of availability solutions, including data protection and monitoring.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide technical input to proposals and Statements of Work
- Support delivery of implementation and consulting services aligned with Veeam solution design
- Provide overall project guidance including plans, schedules, communication, and resource management
- Assess and design solutions, troubleshoot post-installation issues
- Estimate implementation effort and create technical documentation (white papers, solution guides, best practices)
- Deliver onsite knowledge transfer and training on Veeam solutions
- Analyze installed environments and recommend optimal Veeam configurations
- Facilitate communication between clients and Veeam support
- Identify upsell opportunities within client environments
- Contribute to process and documentation improvements
- Travel overnight as needed to meet company objectives
This is a hybrid role combining remote work from home with face-to-face customer visits throughout France.
Requirements:
- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent certification/experience
- Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent project management certification
- Bachelor's degree in technology (combination of education and experience considered)
- Hands-on experience with Veeam core products
- Proven consulting and project management experience
- Significant experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with disruptive storage systems (Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, Veeam)
- Hands-on networking knowledge (Fibre Channel, Ethernet, Cloud services)
- Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures (EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell)
- Hands-on experience with enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle)
- Extensive experience with data management, data protection, data analytics
- Extensive experience with data centers, business continuity, operating systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and accounts
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies and protocols
- Business proficiency in French and English
