Kustomer is a conversational CRM platform backed by leading VCs (Series B $30M in 2025, previously acquired and spun out from Meta). The TechOps team owns internal tech infrastructure, system integrations, and operational automation across the organization.
In this role, you'll be a core member of a lean, high-impact TechOps team that operates with a philosophy of proactive problem elimination rather than reactive ticket-fixing. You'll manage the full lifecycle of Mac hardware operations—from zero-touch provisioning and onboarding to remote logistics, repairs, and inventory management. You'll champion a tightly integrated SaaS ecosystem (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, 1Password, Jamf Pro, Kolide) and drive automation initiatives that scale the function.
Key responsibilities include: delivering rapid, high-quality technical support for internal customers; managing Mac provisioning and hardware operations; maintaining and optimizing the SaaS stack; partnering with Security on compliance audits and gap closure; documenting processes and building self-service knowledge bases in Notion; and owning vendor strategy and tooling decisions to eliminate shadow IT.
You'll have the freedom to explore beyond your core lane—prototyping internal tools, contributing to cross-functional projects, and experimenting with new technologies. The role sits at the intersection of support, systems, and strategy, with a strong emphasis on using AI and automation to scale operations.
Required: 3–5 years as a Systems Administrator; 2+ years supporting Google Workspace, macOS, Okta, and Jamf Pro; customer-service mindset; experience building and owning automated SaaS stacks; networking fundamentals (routers, VLANs, VPN); security/compliance basics; strong communication and documentation skills. Bonus: demonstrated passion for AI enablement and automation.
