Veeva Systems is seeking a Team Manager for Implementation Services to lead a professional services team delivering Veeva RIM (Regulatory Information Management) solutions to life sciences customers. This is a remote, EU/UK-based role with up to 25% travel.
In this position, you will manage a team focused on software implementation delivery and customer success. Your responsibilities include hiring, performance management, and mentorship of team members; executing as a Services Delivery Lead for multiple customer engagements; managing team supply and demand with focus on resource allocation and project staffing; supporting and coaching your team to drive productivity and accountability; managing escalations and supporting sales in pre-sales processes; and cultivating trusted customer relationships.
You will dedicate approximately 25% of your time to direct customer engagement, ensuring hands-on involvement in implementation delivery. You'll coordinate across projects and Veeva functions to share lessons learned and best practices, improving overall service delivery. Additionally, you'll provide executive oversight of internal initiatives, build cross-functional networks with Sales, Strategy, Product, and Services teams, and champion both customer and employee success.
The role requires operational excellence in services management, including utilization tracking, resource management, and delivery oversight. You'll be responsible for identifying and creating billable work opportunities, managing team escalations, and maintaining high standards of implementation excellence. This is a strategic leadership position that balances hands-on delivery leadership with people management and organizational development.
