Upway is a fast-growing marketplace for refurbished e-bikes, having refurbished over 100,000 units in four years. We are seeking a Team Lead – Operations Specialist to oversee and guide our Operations Specialist team in Stuttgart.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of operations specialists while ensuring smooth, efficient operations and maintaining the highest quality standards in e-bike refurbishment and repair. You will serve as the go-to expert for questions regarding inbound processes, shipping operations, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Operations Specialists, providing hands-on guidance, training, and support to ensure continuous skill development and high performance
- Oversee day-to-day operations, optimizing processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to service timelines
- Ensure every refurbished e-bike meets Upway's rigorous quality standards before reaching customers
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance performance and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanics, customer service) to streamline operations and enhance service delivery
- Ensure all safety protocols and workshop best practices are adhered to, promoting a safe and organized work environment
- Foster a positive team culture and maintain workflow efficiency
Requirements:
- Previous team management experience with a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for sustainable mobility and a customer-first mindset
- Willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced environment
- PC skills (Email, Office, etc.)
- Good knowledge of English (German is a plus)
