The Team Agilist role is a servant-leader coaching position responsible for ensuring a single Agile team operates effectively and continuously improves. This is a senior individual contributor role that does not manage people directly but provides coaching, mentorship, and leadership to the team. Key responsibilities include: - Facilitate team sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives - Coach teams in Lean and Agile practices to maintain sustainable, predictable, and adaptable delivery - Ensure work items meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards - Partner with Product Owners and engineering leadership to strengthen backlog management and technical practices - Identify and resolve team impediments, escalating systemic issues appropriately - Guide the team in risk management, mitigation, and contingency planning - Drive continuous improvement and advance team maturity - Maintain transparency through effective reporting and metrics - Foster a collaborative environment that values feedback, innovation, and learning - Engage in communities of practice, mentoring and being mentored Required qualifications include 7+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Team Coach, Service Delivery Manager, or equivalent role. Candidates must demonstrate successful transformation of multiple Agile teams across all maturity stages, strong knowledge of Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP), experience working within team-of-teams structures, proven facilitation and servant leadership skills, and experience in product development (not IT services or bespoke software). Preferred qualifications include fintech or SaaS industry experience, DevOps exposure, and relevant certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP).
