Taskrabbit is a marketplace platform connecting people with local Taskers for home services including furniture assembly, handyman work, moving help, and more. The Tasker Operations Manager role is critical to the company's managed marketplace strategy, focusing on onboarding, nurturing, and retaining Taskers across specific metropolitan areas. In this position, you will drive key performance metrics and supply alignment for assigned metros, directly impacting invoices and revenue. You'll be the face of Taskrabbit to Taskers in your market and recognized as a regional expert across the organization. Key responsibilities include: analyzing supply data and taking targeted actions to improve supply health, booking conversion, and Tasker quality across the lifecycle (activation, billing, retention, churn); acting as a regional subject-matter expert monitoring market performance and tailoring programs to local dynamics; providing performance coaching to Taskers through group and individual settings; growing participation in scaled lifecycle programs; using data-driven insights to identify gaps and recommend cross-functional improvements; demonstrating strong data fluency in communicating performance insights to leadership; designing and leading experiments to improve supply alignment; maintaining product expertise and validating bug reports; leading community engagement through office hours, workshops, and social events; collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Customer Support, Partnerships, Marketing, Legal, and Commercial Operations teams; and sharing learnings with the global Tasker Operations team. You'll need 4+ years in marketplace operations, customer success, community management, or comparable roles. Full professional fluency in both English and Russian is required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is necessary. You must be proficient with data analysis, an excellent communicator and negotiator, and based in or easily commutable to New York City. The role requires up to 10% travel for metro-specific and team events. This is a hybrid position requiring two days of in-office collaboration per week at the NYC office.
