OneTrust is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to join its operations team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on supporting production customers by monitoring and maintaining cloud applications and infrastructure. You will build automation scripts for operational efficiency and incident response, handle cloud application deployments for agile releases, and work with Linux, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, and other cloud services.
Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting production environments, defining and measuring operational metrics (performance, incidents, capacity, availability), running incident resolution, and automating software deployments in coordination with DevOps engineers. You will also build lifecycle processes to mitigate risk and ensure platforms remain current with industry standards.
Success in this role requires a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and coding practices, comfort with debugging and diagnosing production issues, and the ability to decompose and complete small to medium-sized projects independently. You will provide guidance to entry-level engineers, show initiative in assisting teammates, and contribute to project planning and reviews. The ideal candidate is a team player with attention to detail, proactive problem identification, self-motivation, and technical curiosity. You should be comfortable handling changing situations, managing multiple tasks, and learning to analyze the impact of solutions.
