Buena, funded by Google Ventures, is simplifying and democratizing real estate in Germany—making property search, purchase, and financing as transparent as buying an ETF. The company has grown to become Germany's third-largest property management firm in just three years, with 25 full-time employees based in Berlin. Buena acquires property management companies across Germany and transforms them into technology-driven organizations.
You will join as Talent Acquisition Manager, taking full responsibility from day one for recruiting across a portfolio of 500+ employees. Your mission is to identify and onboard tech-savvy, learning-oriented professionals who will redefine traditional property management roles as Buena integrates new acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spend ~80% of your initial months sourcing talent across multiple channels and conducting initial screening interviews
- Own the end-to-end recruiting process: build, optimize, and implement a CRM system to ensure efficiency
- Seamlessly connect the M&A pipeline with the talent pipeline, ensuring each new acquisition is staffed with top performers
- Systematically screen the German market and proactively build strategic talent pools for future acquisition targets
- Work directly with Buena's second-level leadership at HQ, local managing directors in the field, and the HQ talent team
The role emphasizes technology-enabled recruiting, output orientation, and professional candidate engagement. You'll leverage AI and sourcing tools to build scalable talent acquisition processes.
Requirements:
- Must work on-site at Buena's HQ in Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg)
- 1–3 years of measurable recruiting or headhunting success with proven track record of successful placements
- High resilience in direct outreach; confident, results-oriented approach
- Strong learning curve in recruiting methodology and technology-enabled workflows; proficiency with AI and sourcing tools
- German market knowledge preferred given the geographic focus
