Salary: USD 80,000 - 95,000 / annual

BETA Technologies is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join its IT support team and help revolutionize electric aviation. This role focuses on maintaining and managing software, hardware, and networks across all company sites, with special emphasis on Government Programs in a CMMC-governed environment. Key responsibilities include: - Administer cloud and on-premise systems, primarily supporting Government Programs - Manage Microsoft 365 infrastructure including Entra ID, Azure, and Microsoft Domain Services - Configure and secure Windows environments via Microsoft Intune - Manage iOS device security through MDM platforms - Administer Linux systems via domain management and RMM tools - Implement DNS, certificates, and encryption solutions - Execute governance framework changes aligned with CMMC requirements - Plan and execute system upgrades and maintenance with minimal downtime - Configure, monitor, and maintain backup and replication routines - Organize and implement disaster recovery drills with documentation review - Monitor infrastructure using tools like PagerDuty - Provide Tier 2 technical support across all offices - Create and maintain IT documentation and training materials - Collaborate with Information Security team on vulnerability remediation Minimum qualifications include 8+ years managing information systems and networks, expert-level Microsoft 365 experience, scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python), and U.S. citizenship with DoD security clearance eligibility. Preferred qualifications include expertise in Conditional Access, on-prem backup solutions, Fortinet firewalls, SIEM platforms like Splunk, and Azure administration.
