Sereact is an AI robotics startup building intelligence that enables robots to sense, reason, and act in real-world industrial settings like warehouses and factories. We're seeking a System Reliability Engineer to join our Technical Support team, providing exceptional support to customers across Europe as they deploy and operate our robotic systems.
In this role, you will be the primary technical point of contact for customers, responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues with our AI robotics deployments. You will remotely access and troubleshoot robots using SSH, Docker, Python, and other tools in our stack, guiding customers through structured problem-solving processes both remotely and on-site. You'll collaborate with internal hardware and software teams to resolve complex technical problems, escalate unresolved issues to specialists, and serve as an on-call support contact during assigned shifts to address urgent customer issues.
Beyond reactive support, you'll contribute to continuous improvement by sharing learnings, enhancing our knowledge base and tooling, and maintaining accurate documentation of incidents and solutions. You'll identify recurring problems and drive product and process improvements, including developing platform enhancements such as ticketing systems, customer-facing dashboards, and debug tooling. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related technical field
- Minimum 2–3 years of work experience in robotics and customer-facing technical roles
- Proficiency in Python programming with ability to debug and analyze code
- Experience with remote support tools and techniques, including SSH and Docker
- Fluent in German and English
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Strong troubleshooting skills with methodical problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience providing technical support to customers
- Familiarity with robotics systems and their operational environments
- Ability to work in fast-paced startup environment and handle on-call responsibilities
- Willingness to travel approximately 50–75%
- Nice to have: experience in the logistics industry
