Base is a next-generation power company deploying distributed battery networks to transform the electrical grid from centralized to resilient and abundant. The Support Operations role owns the end-to-end performance of the member-facing support function, combining analytical rigor with direct operational accountability. You will track support performance metrics closely, identify emerging issues early, and drive fixes at the root cause rather than treating symptoms. Key responsibilities include forecasting team capacity needs, building dashboards and reporting systems that provide real visibility into support performance, and owning member communication and information systems. You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to close gaps wherever they appear, ensuring accountability to metrics that matter to members. The role requires strong data skills—you'll build your own models, dashboards, and forecasts from scratch. You'll communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and you'll own the tools and systems your team depends on. You're comfortable in a startup environment where infrastructure is still being built and priorities shift quickly. You balance deep analytical work with hands-on execution, moving fluidly between both modes. Base values first-principles thinking, rapid execution, direct feedback, and ownership. The company operates in-person with an all-in culture focused on the mission of rebuilding the electrical grid. This is an opportunity to shape how a critical function scales at a venture-backed climate tech company solving one of civilization's foundational challenges.
