As a Support Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between SonarSource and its global customer base. Your primary responsibilities include helping customers integrate SonarSource solutions across their development pipelines—working with developer IDEs, ALMs (Application Lifecycle Management), CI/CD systems, SCM tools, and enterprise infrastructure. You will drive technical issues to resolution through investigation, troubleshooting, and relationship management, ensuring customers can effectively deploy and use SonarQube, SonarQube Foundation Agent, and related products.
You will collaborate closely with Sales and Consulting teams to enhance customer experience and ensure maximum value from the service offering. A key part of the role is representing the customer voice internally, gathering feedback on product usage and pain points to inform product team discussions and shape future product evolution.
Required qualifications include 3–5 years of experience in software support, maintenance, or delivery; 2+ years hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines (Git, SVN, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, BitBucket); and practical knowledge of both on-premises and cloud deployment platforms (Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure). You should have demonstrated curiosity with AI development tools, strong investigation and troubleshooting skills, and excellent English communication abilities. A team-oriented, can-do attitude and willingness to challenge the status quo are essential.
The role is based in Geneva with an in-office culture emphasizing collaboration on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. SonarSource operates global hubs in Austin, Bochum, Dubai, Geneva, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington D.C., and the company is profitable with over $400M in revenue.
