Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. Anduril is fielding the next generation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for seabed exploration, with ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth platforms and flexible manufacturing architecture scaling from large to extra-large vehicle sizes.
The Supply Planner will join the rapidly growing Maritime team in Quonset, RI, responsible for planning and sourcing materials to support the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge defense hardware for autonomous underwater vehicles. This role spans the entire value chain from raw materials through finished goods, with full ownership of certain assemblies and product lines. The Supply Planner will send critical signals to Purchasing and Manufacturing on what and when to buy or build.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own accurate planning and on-time delivery of raw materials to internal assembly lines and finished goods to customers
- Support day-to-day demand signaling, ordering, and inventory management for product lines
- Identify supply issues and drive resolution across Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders
- Own reporting and analysis of supply and material health, providing inputs for Engineering (design cut-in dates), Purchasing (buy signals), Manufacturing (clear-to-build signals), and Business Development (supply overview for customer contracts)
- Work closely with Sourcing Engineers and Manufacturing Engineering to source components, maintain vendor relationships, and develop make vs. buy strategies
- Facilitate discussions with Business Development and Growth teams to review unconstrained forecasts and develop achievable constrained demand plans
- Develop and maintain processes for working within MRP systems and associated master data
- Support cost engineering activities to converge bottom-up cost curves to product cost, maximizing total cost of ownership across product lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in supply chain or production roles involving complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies
- Demonstrated ability to completely own a value chain from start to finish, coordinating among multiple internal and external parties to achieve on-time deliveries under stringent quality standards
- Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment
- Prior knowledge of NetSuite or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or other related technical degree; advanced technical degree or MBA strongly preferred
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience interacting with SQL databases for storage of information and building custom queries for tracking production and inventory-related metrics
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any technical field including mechanical/aerospace/manufacturing, electrical, or computer engineering, supply chain, or business with a technical minor or concentration
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma principles in action
