Salary: USD 94,633 - 110,000 / annual
Albedo is building infrastructure for Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) satellites, operating below 300 km where proximity enhances performance and drag naturally cleans debris. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you'll own end-to-end inventory and material flow processes as the company scales from its first 100 employees.
Your responsibilities include managing inventory and material flow from receiving through production kitting, building and continuously improving systems and processes to maintain accuracy and traceability as Albedo grows. You'll proactively identify shortages and inventory risks before they impact production schedules, support procurement by generating purchase orders, sourcing quotes, and translating BOMs and lead times into clear material priorities.
You'll manage day-to-day logistics including packing, shipping, freight coordination, and hardware movement between Albedo facilities, suppliers, customers, and test sites. You'll establish standards for stockroom organization, cycle counting, and material handling while owning the accuracy of inventory, purchasing, and material data across company systems.
The role requires taking ambiguous supply chain problems from identification through implementation, creating scalable workflows in a fast-moving startup environment. You'll work with high autonomy, setting priorities and driving execution with limited oversight while communicating effectively across engineering, production, quality, finance, and supplier teams.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in supply chain, inventory planning, procurement, logistics, or manufacturing operations supporting complex hardware. You should demonstrate ability to independently build and improve operational processes, understand inventory control and material transactions, and be comfortable with ERP/MRP systems and strong spreadsheet skills. The role is based on-site at Albedo's Broomfield, CO headquarters.
