Fervo Energy is revolutionizing geothermal power by applying first-principles engineering and manufacturing discipline to an industry that has operated largely unchanged for decades. The company is building standardized, repeatable GeoBlocks—modular units of geothermal power generation—designed to become cheaper, faster, and more reliable with each iteration.
The Supply Chain Manager, Power Facilities will own category strategy and execution for PowerBlock equipment and services—the critical segment consisting of turbines, generators, heat exchangers, balance-of-plant equipment, and major electrical systems that convert geothermal heat into power. This is a strategic role that directly drives Fervo's manufacturing model and cost structure.
Key responsibilities include: developing and executing PowerBlock category strategy (make/buy decisions, sourcing approach, supplier segmentation); leading commercial negotiations for major equipment and services contracts; building and maintaining strategic relationships with OEMs and service providers to drive cost and cycle-time improvements; partnering with engineering, construction, and operations teams from design phase through deployment to optimize equipment selection and standardization; managing the full procurement lifecycle (RFPs, evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, supplier performance); developing and tracking category KPIs around cost, cycle time, supplier performance, and risk; identifying and mitigating category-specific risks including single points of failure and long-lead equipment exposure; and driving continuous improvement as Fervo scales deployment.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, category management, engineering, or operations experience in fast-paced, manufacturing-mode, or fast-scaling environments. A bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or science is required. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated experience negotiating major equipment or services contracts, working knowledge of turbines, generators, heat exchangers, or power generation equipment, and exposure to manufacturing-mode or repeatable project delivery models.

The role reports to the Supply Chain function leader and requires close collaboration across the organization.
