Coram AI is building AI-powered physical security systems that combine computer vision, AI, and hardware (servers with GPUs, hard drives, memory). This is a founding Supply Chain Manager role reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for building the supply chain function from scratch. You will own end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution: sourcing and vendor management across OEMs, JDMs (joint development manufacturers), contract manufacturers, and distributors; securing supply in constrained, allocation-driven markets (GPUs, memory, HDDs, servers); inventory planning and strategy; and building processes, playbooks, and eventually a team. Key responsibilities include: - Fluent vendor management across OEM, JDM, and distributor partners in the US and Asia - Sourcing strategy spanning fully-assembled products and individual component procurement - Navigating primary and secondary markets for cost and availability optimization - Negotiating commercial terms and holding vendors accountable on timelines, delivery, and quality - Securing supply commitments in tight markets, managing down-payment strategy and cash-flow implications - Owning inventory readiness to meet demand without leaving revenue on the table - Standing up demand/supply planning, inventory controls, and ERP requirements - Building processes and team structure in a fast-moving Series B environment You should have hands-on hardware supply chain experience, ideally with servers, GPUs, HDDs, memory, or data-center compute hardware. Deep expertise in vendor negotiation, OEM/JDM/distributor relationships, and managing supply in constrained markets is essential. You need a builder's mindset—comfortable with ambiguity, strategic yet tactical, able to translate mature playbooks into a scrappy, fast-moving environment. This role requires both process instinct and the ability to work closely with hardware engineering, logistics, fulfillment, and finance teams. Coram AI was founded by ex-Lyft engineers (Ashesh Jain, PhD Cornell; Peter Ondruska, PhD Oxford), has raised over $65M from top-tier investors (Ansa Capital, Battery Ventures, Mosaic, 8VC, Up Partners), and was named to CB Insights AI 100.
