Salary: USD 155,000 - 185,000 / annual
Infleqtion is commercializing atom-based quantum technologies for sensing and computing applications. We seek an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality management and ensure compliance with government and defense contract requirements.
You will own supplier qualification, assessment, and monitoring across our supply chain, evaluating quality-system capability, technical competence, capacity, delivery performance, and risk. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive supplier audits (quality-management-system, process, product, and special-process audits), managing nonconformance and material review processes, and driving corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
You will develop and review quality plans, first-article inspection packages, inspection/test records, certificates of conformance, and traceability documentation. Working knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 is essential, as is proficiency interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and configuration-control requirements. You will apply quality tools including 5 Why analysis, fishbone diagrams, FMEA, control plans, process capability, and statistical process control.
This role requires strong collaboration with suppliers, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, program management, and customers. You will maintain rigorous documentation discipline and objective quality evidence ready for customer or government review. Experience with government contracts, FAR Part 46, and DFARS is required; DCMA, source inspection, and government quality assurance surveillance experience is preferred. ASQ certifications (CQE, CSQP, or CQA) are valued, as is familiarity with counterfeit-part prevention, product traceability, lot control, serialization, and first-article inspection requirements (AS9102).
