GOAT Group is seeking a Supervisor of Product Authentication to lead the authentication team within our Operations division. The Operations team manages a worldwide distribution network responsible for authenticating sneakers and streetwear, fulfilling orders, and ensuring on-time delivery to buyers globally.
In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations and strategy of the Authentication team, partnering with Operations leadership to develop growth and development plans while ensuring SLA compliance and upholding quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and manage the Authentication team, including daily communication, performance coaching, and scheduling support
- Execute and track operational goals, troubleshooting performance issues related to Cost Per Order (CPO)
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning by maintaining GOAT's quality and safety standards
- Manage team development, including coaching employees to meet operational goals, performance management, and training
- Work cross-functionally to drive quality control expectations within Authentication
- Support tracking and troubleshooting order issues, misverification reports, and audits; serve as the last line of defense for order issues
- Work in a dynamic warehouse environment with heavy equipment
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience with a background in product authentication
- Knowledge of and passion for sneakers and apparel, including familiarity with industry trends and resources
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Quick learner and self-starter, capable of working independently and handling increasing responsibility
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 35 pounds
- Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays during peak times
