Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Supervisor for Manufacturing Operations to lead production teams in Santa Ana, California. You will manage up to 30 production associates responsible for manufacturing advanced defense systems powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for military command and control.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing technician staff through product production, acceptance testing, and delivery
- Setting daily priorities and directing operations, including work order issuance and blocker resolution
- Ensuring safety compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate inventory and production system records (NetSuite/JIRA)
- Providing weekly production reports on progress, risks, and needs
- Leading cross-functional communication with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and quality teams
- Supporting operator training and developing team culture
- Executing standardized manufacturing instructions and quality control
- Investigating issues and tracking corrective actions
Required qualifications include 2+ years supervising in high-volume production, strong manufacturing fundamentals knowledge (LEAN, critical path analysis, product lifecycle), ability to interpret technical documentation, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and passion for employee development. Must be a U.S. Person with access to export-controlled information.
Preferred qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, and knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA compliance.
