Veho is a Series B logistics and ecommerce fulfillment company building modern, end-to-end supply chain infrastructure for brands like HelloFresh, Zara, Macy's, and Sephora. As a Ground Operations Supervisor, you will lead a hands-on warehouse team, managing day-to-day operations and driving operational excellence. You will be responsible for developing warehouse associates and leads through coaching and mentorship, ensuring they have the skills to succeed and grow within the organization. Your role bridges warehouse floor operations with cross-functional leadership, requiring you to plan and prioritize team initiatives, assess operational needs quickly, and orchestrate seamless workflows while maintaining safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coaching warehouse associates and leads in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Developing team members through consistent, intentional coaching and identifying growth opportunities
- Planning and prioritizing operational initiatives, including technology platform navigation for logistics challenges
- Scheduling shifts to align with business needs and projected volume
- Ensuring accurate reporting, cross-functional communication, and on-time delivery
- Driving continuous improvement with identified milestones and KPI achievement
- Working cross-functionally to solve operational challenges and maintain safety standards
- Thriving in an ever-changing environment while exceeding expectations for customers, clients, drivers, and employees
The anticipated schedule is 12pm–10pm, 4 days per week, with rotating weekend coverage (1 week Saturday–Sunday, 1 week Sunday–Wednesday). Warehouse leadership is expected to be onsite during scheduled shifts; occasional off-site work is at manager discretion. Veho's operating hours vary based on operational needs, and schedules are subject to change.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of previous management experience in logistics, operations, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Physical ability to work in warehouse conditions: standing for full shifts, frequent bending, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly, working in varying temperatures, and tolerating loud noise and fumes
- Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check
- Minimal travel required
