Salary: USD 60,000 - 70,000 / annual
Veho is a Series B logistics and ecommerce fulfillment company building modern, end-to-end supply chain infrastructure for brands like HelloFresh, Zara, Macy's, and Sephora. As a Ground Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of warehouse associates and leads in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. You are a hands-on manager responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, team development, and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities include:
- Coach and develop warehouse staff on skills needed for success and future growth
- Set standards for operational excellence and drive team performance through values-based leadership
- Manage shift scheduling aligned with business needs and operational hours
- Ensure accurate reporting, cross-functional communication, and efficient processing of sort and launch packages
- Maintain safety standards and compliance across all warehouse operations
- Assess operational needs quickly and work cross-functionally to solve logistical challenges
- Drive continuous improvement with identified milestones and KPIs
- Thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment requiring quick thinking and agility
- Partner cross-functionally to support the broader organization
The role operates on a rotating schedule (Sunday–Wednesday 12pm–10pm and Wednesday–Saturday 12pm–10pm, subject to change). Warehouse leadership is expected to be onsite during scheduled shifts, with occasional off-site work at manager discretion. The position involves physically demanding warehouse work, including standing for full shifts, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and working in varying temperatures and noise levels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of previous management experience in logistics, operations, or related field (preferred)
- Proficient in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners
- Willingness to complete comprehensive background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends as required
- Physically able to work in warehouse conditions: standing for duration of shift, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, working in hot/cold temperatures, loud noise and fumes
- Minimal travel required
