Salary: USD 160,000 - 180,000 / annual
Infleqtion seeks an experienced Subcontract Program Manager to oversee multiple development subcontracts within the Quantum Sensing Solutions (QSS) group. This role serves as the primary subcontract lead for hardware development programs in government, aerospace, and national security markets.
You will lead strategic suppliers and subcontractors, managing performance across cost, schedule, technical requirements, and quality metrics. Key responsibilities include developing supplier execution and recovery plans, conducting performance assessments, and escalating issues. You'll integrate subcontractor activities into overall program schedules, coordinate across Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Contracts, and Finance teams, and track progress and risks.
On the contracting side, you'll support subcontract strategy development, lead major negotiations, oversee awards and modifications, and ensure proper flow-down of customer and regulatory requirements. You'll identify supply chain risks, develop mitigation plans, monitor supplier financial health, and manage schedule, technical, and quality impacts.
Financial management includes tracking subcontract budgets, supporting Estimates at Completion, and analyzing cost variances. This is a high-impact leadership role directly influencing QSS and Infleqtion growth.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or Operations Management. 10+ years in subcontract or hardware development program management for U.S. government, aerospace, defense, or NASA programs. Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and contract types. Experience with Integrated Master Schedules, risk registers, change management, and Earned Value Management. Extensive subcontract management, supplier performance metrics, and source selection experience. Proficiency with SAP/NetSuite, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and Excel. Superior written/presentation and negotiation skills. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance required.
