Fluidstack is building civilization-scale compute infrastructure for AI, acquiring power, designing and operating data centers to deliver 10-100s of GWs of compute faster than competitors. The company operates with radical autonomy, first-principles reasoning, and extreme urgency to advance the frontier of AI infrastructure. The Strategic Finance team is solving problems at an unprecedented scale: raising capital rivaling sovereign debt programs (hundreds of billions in debt and equity), inventing novel financing instruments tailored to AI infrastructure (credit support with equity warrants, hyperscaler-guaranteed leases, project finance structures), and closing transactions at build speed rather than traditional finance timelines. As a Structured Finance Associate, you will support the execution of major financing transactions including high-yield bond issuances, senior secured term loans, and equipment/project finance facilities. Your responsibilities include managing diligence workflows, tracking lender and counsel workstreams, and coordinating documentation through close. You will build, maintain, and audit transaction models covering debt sizing, DSCR waterfalls, restricted payment mechanics, levered and unlevered returns, and multi-scenario sensitivities, owning model accuracy and escalating issues to senior team members. You'll review and model credit support structures (guarantees, credit wraps, off-take agreements, investment-grade backstops) and analyze warrant agreements and equity co-invest structures to understand their impact on debt sizing and underwriting. You will evaluate capital structures across HoldCo/OpCo/PropCo arrangements, cross-collateralization, cross-default, and intercreditor arrangements under senior guidance. You'll support external counsel, financial advisors, and counterparty working groups by tracking open legal and commercial issues and driving resolutions on deal timelines. Additionally, you will support investor and lender materials including investment memos, lender presentations, bond offering documents, and approval packages, partnering with development, power, site selection, legal, and technology teams to gather inputs and communicate how financing affects project outcomes. Fluidstack operates with full autonomy ("be a barrel"), insane urgency, first-principles reasoning, and a focus on building something that matters to the world. REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in leveraged finance, structured credit, or related capital markets roles at a bank, credit fund, or infrastructure sponsor - Exposure to deal execution: diligence, documentation, and lender/advisor coordination - Ability to build, maintain, and audit transaction models for multi-tranche capital structures with senior guidance - Strong written communication: organized memos, summaries, and deal-tracking materials - Bonus qualifications: data center, power, or digital infrastructure finance experience (debt or equity side); credit agreement mechanics and covenant structures; high-yield or leveraged loan documentation; credit support structures; warrant agreements and equity co-invest structures; SPV structuring or multi-lender intercreditor arrangements
