Savvy is a Series C fintech company reinventing wealth management for independent financial advisors. The company provides a modern, AI-native platform that allows advisors to run their practices without managing back-office operations. Savvy has raised $200M, serves 100+ advisors, and is on track for $100M ARR in 2026. You will join a small, high-leverage Finance team as a Strategy & Operations Manager reporting to the Head of Finance. This is an operator role focused on live, recurring processes where accuracy is critical and advisors notice immediately if something goes wrong. Key responsibilities include: - Own core finance operations end-to-end: advisor payouts, invoicing and collections, and partner revenue. Run these accurately every cycle and stand behind the numbers. - Automate manual, spreadsheet-driven processes by building AI-powered workflows and tools. Document every process, add controls, and turn one-off judgment calls into repeatable procedures. - Serve as the point person for advisor and internal questions, working directly with Advisory Operations, Trading, Billing, and Post-Sales to resolve issues at the root. - Help shape the function as one of the first people in this seat, building processes rather than inheriting them. - Support strategic projects including pricing and economics for advisor deals, design of new advisor programs, vendor evaluations, and planning analysis for leadership. The Finance team is small but operates like a much larger one through AI and automation. The team builds most of its own tools (payout engines, reconciliation workflows, reporting, agents for recurring analysis) and prioritizes AI-native platforms over legacy systems. You will be expected to ask how AI can solve problems first, while knowing when human review is necessary before money moves. Expect a dynamic environment where some days are planned around projects and other days you'll be pulled in multiple directions by advisor needs, requiring quick triage and response. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 4 years in investment banking, consulting, or a strategy, ops, or finance role at a high-growth startup. Preference for candidates with experience in both banking/consulting and startup environments. - Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (hard requirement). Must be comfortable building and auditing multi-input calculations, including lookups, nested logic, and pivot tables without templates. - Exceptional attention to detail and low tolerance for unexplained variances, including small ones. - Comfort chasing information across the organization; ability to gather context from multiple teams. - Strong written communication skills, particularly explaining compensation calculations to people whose income depends on accuracy. - AI-native mindset: already use LLMs and agents for real leverage in work; have built workflows, tools, or automations with them; know when humans need to be in the loop due to high stakes. NICE TO HAVE: - Experience in wealth management, financial services, or fintech, particularly with advisor, broker, or producer compensation. - Experience with negotiated commissions or incentive compensation (non-standardized terms). - Experience as the first person in a role, building processes from scratch.
