The Strategy & Operations Lead for the FinCrime tribe will drive strategic planning and operational excellence for the financial crime and fraud prevention function. This is a cross-functional leadership role managing initiatives spanning Product, Data, Compliance, and Operations teams.
Key responsibilities include:
• Strategic Planning & Governance: Lead OKR and quarterly roadmap development for the FinCrime tribe. Facilitate business reviews and maintain high visibility into team performance, resource allocation, and health metrics.
• Cross-Functional Program Management: Own high-impact initiatives including new market launches and regulatory overhauls. Act as the bridge between technical and operational teams to ensure seamless execution without direct authority over all stakeholders.
• Operational Excellence: Identify process bottlenecks in FinCrime and Fraud operations. Design and implement scalable operating models that enable team growth while maintaining risk controls and customer experience standards.
• Data-Driven Insights: Partner with Data teams to build dashboards and reporting mechanisms. Translate complex data into actionable insights for critical business decisions and risk appetite adjustments.
Required qualifications: 4-7 years in Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, or high-growth fintech. Proven track record leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives from conception to execution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to structure ambiguous problems. AI fluency and ability to apply AI tools to real-world problems.
Preferred: Prior experience in Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance, or Payments operations. SQL or data visualization proficiency (Tableau, Databricks). Experience scaling teams/processes in growth startups. Exceptional communication skills including board-level presentation capability.
