Salary: USD 90,000 - 140,000 / annual
Nitra is building a modern fintech and software ecosystem to help healthcare practices operate more efficiently. The team includes veterans from American Express, Citi, PayPal, Plaid, Meta, and other top-tier companies.
As a Strategy & Operations Associate, you will support the development and scaling of Nitra's card business and broader operations. You will work closely with leadership across go-to-market functions to drive strategic initiatives, business planning, and operational priorities.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the development and scaling of People Operations processes, including onboarding, performance management, and employee programs
- Partner with Strategy & Operations leaders across GTM to support strategic initiatives and day-to-day operating priorities
- Analyze business performance, identify trends and opportunities, and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Build analyses, financial models, reporting, and presentations to support leadership decision-making
- Own and improve operational processes, workflows, and reporting across GTM functions
- Support quarterly and annual planning, forecasting, goal-setting, and performance management
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Recruiting, and other teams
- Take on special projects and ambiguous business problems requiring structured thinking and hands-on execution
- Identify opportunities to make the business more efficient and scalable, and drive those initiatives through execution
The role is ideal for someone from investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, consulting, or a highly analytical fintech environment who wants to apply strong quantitative skills to a fast-moving startup.
Nitra maintains a hybrid work policy with team members in the office four days per week and Wednesdays as work-from-home.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or a similarly analytical role at a high-growth company
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex problems and develop practical solutions
- Strong quantitative skills and comfort working with Excel/Google Sheets and business data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Structured, detail-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High ownership and bias toward action; comfortable taking problems from ambiguous starting points through execution
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort working with senior leaders
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new areas of the business quickly
