Lambda is a leader in AI cloud infrastructure serving tens of thousands of customers globally, from AI researchers to enterprises and hyperscalers. The Strategy and Execution Lead reports to the Head of Cloud Strategy and owns the operating cadence and business machinery for Lambda Cloud's scaling.
Key responsibilities include: establishing and managing weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating cadence across business reviews and planning; building and maintaining financial models that drive strategic decisions around procurement, deployment, and packaging; collaborating with finance to construct the business unit's P&L and operating metrics; piloting processes for long-term capital investment requests; developing demand forecast systems to optimize deployment timing; operating at the intersection of supply, product, pricing, and support teams to convert ad-hoc work into durable operating agreements; and continuously improving efficiency through automation and process simplification as the business scales.
This is a mid-to-senior individual contributor role with a clear growth trajectory. The expectation is that within 12 months, the systems you build will operate autonomously, freeing you to tackle the next strategic challenge.
Required qualifications: 5+ years (or 4+ with an advanced degree) in strategy, business operations, finance, or revenue operations. Demonstrated ability to build decision-grade financial models from incomplete data with defensible assumptions. Cross-functional leadership without formal authority, with proven success aligning teams like supply, product, pricing, and finance. Comfort with operational systems and process design, including mapping and fixing broken workflows. Strong ownership mentality, crisp communication, and credible peer relationships. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field.
Nice-to-have experience includes: rebuilding work with AI tools; prior roles in BizOps, Finance, or RevOps at high-growth cloud, infrastructure, or hardware companies; executive presentation experience; commercial fluency across sales motions and deal structures; and exposure to capacity planning or capex allocation at scale.
