Socure is building identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy, verifying identities in real time and preventing fraud. The Strategic Operations Lead, Public Sector role serves as a strategic partner and chief of staff to the Public Sector General Manager, driving go-to-market execution, operational excellence, and cross-functional initiatives across federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as education and healthcare institutions.
In this hybrid role based in Washington, DC, you'll lead execution of key customer and revenue initiatives including quarterly business reviews, agency briefings, contract renewals, proof-of-value pilots, and RFP responses. You'll support renewal and recompete strategies through pricing analysis, financial modeling, scenario planning, and risk assessment, while identifying expansion opportunities through agency and market analysis. You'll develop executive-ready materials translating customer, policy, and technical requirements into clear recommendations.
Operationally, you'll partner across Sales, Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, Product, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal to drive execution through complex public sector sales cycles. You'll own key operating cadences including deal reviews, forecasting, internal QBRs, and leadership meetings. You'll track priorities, dependencies, and follow-ups while proactively identifying and resolving blockers, and improve reporting, workflows, and processes to increase efficiency and visibility.
Strategically, you'll build scalable operating systems, dashboards, AI-enabled workflows, and automation to improve execution. You'll serve as a thought partner to Public Sector leadership, driving high-impact initiatives from concept through execution, and conduct ad hoc strategic, financial, and operational analysis to support business decisions.
Ideal candidates come from management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, government (budget analysis, program management, strategy), public sector consulting (Deloitte, Booz Allen, Accenture Federal, Guidehouse, ICF), or civic technology (18F, U.S. Digital Service). You'll have 2–4 years of experience in fast-paced, high-performance environments (or 1–2 years post-MBA), strong analytical and financial modeling skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, exceptional project and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across long, complex sales and procurement cycles. Familiarity with government procurement, contracting, RFPs, or regulated industries is a plus. Direct public sector experience is valued but not required.
