Plaid is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to own core pieces of the company's top-line revenue forecast and provide data-driven insights to shape business strategy. You will build and refine financial models and processes that translate business activity into accurate, forward-looking revenue numbers. Beyond forecasting, you'll analyze what drives growth—internal data and external market/macro factors—to assess the health and durability of that growth, while working to automate and scale underlying processes.
You will partner day-to-day with Plaid's GTM organization, translating forecasting and analytics work into actionable insights that inform their planning and decisions. You'll own recurring KPI and variance reporting cadences for key stakeholders, ranging from day-to-day dashboards to quarterly Board materials, surfacing risks and opportunities early. You will also help recruit and grow the Strategic Finance team at Plaid.
Plaid powers financial connectivity for millions of users across thousands of companies (Venmo, SoFi, Fortune 500 firms, major banks) and covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK, and Europe. The Strategic Finance team is central to shaping long-term business strategy and execution, providing analytical rigor and data-driven insights across the organization.

- 4–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or FP&A/strategic finance, ideally including time at a high-growth technology company
- Strong quantitative and analytical mindset with data fluency to work directly with large datasets (SQL, AI tools, or both) and judgment to build and validate financial models and workflows
- Strong financial modeling, communication, and presentation skills
- Comfortable working through moderately complex, ambiguous problems, distilling them into structured frameworks and actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted cross-functional relationships and drive alignment on financial targets
- Proficiency with core financial and GTM systems; Pigment, Tableau, or similar FP&A/BI tool experience is a plus
