Rebar is building an AI operating system for commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The company has processed tens of thousands of projects across North America, doubled revenue in the first six weeks of 2026, and recently raised a $14M Series A. Construction represents 10% of GDP and remains massively underserved by software.
You will build and own Rebar's manufacturer partnerships business from the ground up. The role has two core components: (1) developing direct partnerships with manufacturers to integrate their product selection and pricing into Rebar's platform, making it easier for customers to specify and quote products; and (2) creating a market intelligence product that monetizes Rebar's unique visibility into what products are being specified, where projects are happening, and market trends—competing directly with platforms like Dodge.
In your first 90 days, you will spend time in market conversations to identify target manufacturers, decision-makers, and what each would value. You'll return with findings and develop a written partnership strategy including target list, entry points, commercial models, and pricing rationale. You will design the commercial model by working with the team to test hypotheses about how manufacturers might pay for market intelligence, takeoff capacity, business generated through Rebar, or novel models. You'll pressure-test each model against actual manufacturer budgeting and procurement processes.
You will use existing relationships to initiate conversations quickly, run the full sales cycle from first meeting through procurement and legal, and build relationships at the decision-making level. You'll shape the product by communicating to the product team what integrations, data, and capabilities manufacturers need before signing, and bring evidence from real conversations rather than assumptions.
This is a fully remote role with 30%+ travel.
