Volta is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform building compute utilities for enterprise AI workloads. The company has secured $10B in strategic partnerships and $5B in dedicated infrastructure funding, with rapid growth across London, Palo Alto, and New York.
The Statutory Reporting Manager owns statutory financial reporting for Volta's multi-jurisdiction group, which spans the UK, US, Norway, Luxembourg, and Spain. This is a hands-on role managing the full statutory reporting cycle as the company scales its entity structure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the USGAAP to IFRS bridge and preparation of statutory financial statements across all group entities
- Managing external audit processes, coordinating with auditors and local advisors in each jurisdiction
- Ensuring compliance with local GAAP/IFRS requirements and statutory filing deadlines
- Building and maintaining a statutory reporting calendar tracking deadlines and filing status across jurisdictions
- Partnering with the Corporate Secretary on entity management and group structure alignment
- Maintaining technical accounting positions and disclosures, escalating complex judgement calls
- Coordinating with local finance teams, tax advisors, and registered agents to gather required information
- Standardizing statutory reporting processes and templates as new entities are added
- Supporting ad hoc reporting needs from financings, joint ventures, and M&A activity
- Assisting with ERP implementation as it impacts statutory reporting
This role requires someone comfortable bringing structure to a fast-moving, multi-entity environment with meticulous attention to detail and strong technical accounting judgment.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in statutory reporting, ideally within a multi-jurisdiction group or professional services environment (accounting firm or in-house)
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS; familiarity with US, Nordic, or other European statutory reporting regimes is a strong advantage
- Experience managing external audit relationships and statutory audit processes
- Comfortable working across multiple entities and jurisdictions simultaneously, tracking deadlines without prompting
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong technical accounting judgement
- Organised and self-directed
