Wheel is a Series C healthtech company building a platform for virtual care delivery at scale. As Staff/Principal Product Manager for Patient Experience, you will own the strategy and roadmap for the consumer-facing interface through which patients access care via enterprise partner brands. This is a B2B2C role where you design experiences that meet modern consumer expectations while satisfying enterprise partner technical, brand, and compliance requirements. You will operate at a systems level, connecting patient-facing decisions to underlying clinical, operational, and platform architecture. Key responsibilities include: **Strategy & Vision:** - Define multi-year vision and roadmap for patient experience across white-labeled consumer surfaces, balancing partner-specific needs with scalable core product - Establish frameworks for deciding what should be standardized versus configured per partner - Translate enterprise partner requirements across market segments into unified product strategy - Champion design as strategic differentiator in AI-powered patient experiences **Systems Thinking & Cross-Functional Execution:** - Map patient journey end-to-end (first touchpoint through clinical encounter to follow-up) and identify friction, drop-off, and trust gaps - Partner with Engineering, Clinical Operations, and partner-facing teams to design solutions across distributed clinician networks and multiple integrations - Define product requirements, success metrics, and evaluation criteria for AI-driven capabilities (intake, triage, personalization), including model tradeoffs and post-launch iteration - Break down ambiguous problems into clear requirements and drive alignment from concept through launch **Cross-Functional Leadership:** - Serve as primary product voice with Account Management and enterprise partners, translating strategy into partner-resonant terms - Communicate vision, tradeoffs, and progress to executives, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders - Mentor other product managers on systems thinking and product craft **Requirements:** - 8+ years of product management experience with track record owning consumer-facing products at senior/lead level (Staff, Principal, or equivalent scope) - Direct experience building consumer products, ideally B2B2C or white-label models where end user and paying customer differ - Demonstrated systems thinking: designing products spanning multiple stakeholders, technical layers, or partner integrations - Real, hands-on experience delivering AI-powered products and features (not just using AI tools); ability to discuss tradeoffs, evaluation methods, and production iteration cycles - Experience navigating tension between enterprise partner requirements and end-user needs in B2B2C, particularly in healthcare or regulated industries; ability to build decision frameworks satisfying compliance, brand, and clinical constraints while serving end consumers - Outstanding written and verbal communication, moving fluidly between consumer detail and executive strategy - Track record as builder: comfortable with ambiguity, willing to get hands-on with design, data, or requirements to keep Engineering moving - Mix of vision and execution: setting compelling multi-year direction and driving week-to-week product decisions - Strong product sense for consumer experience balanced with operational and technical judgment for B2B2C - Experience partnering with enterprise or channel partners on product decisions - Technical fluency across APIs, integration patterns (webhooks, headless architectures, MCP, emerging protocols), and platform product design - Ability to synthesize input from clinical, engineering, data, and partner stakeholders into clear direction - Data-driven judgment knowing when qualitative signal outweighs metrics - High ownership and autonomy; thrives in fast-moving, lean environments
